second skin

"Second Skin" four-woman art exhibition: Curated by Dana Peters at Minnow Arts in Santa Cruz, CA in conjunction with Ripple Arts Festival. This exhibition is a study in material transformation and the second life of objects.

“Second Skin” the performance: What happens after you look at a piece of art? How does your body change in response to what it sees?
Almost Romantic Improv Group took the works in the Second Skin exhibition and gave them a physical second life. They used the objects in the gallery as the starting point for a completely improvised performance in spirit with the Ripple Arts Festival. One creative act sparks another.
